In the future, we will be walking talking genetic quilts, held afloat by technology, reaching for the infinite, eternal life, and holding our humanity by a thread. Two cyborgs, kicked out of their utopian homes for making an actual human baby, must learn what it is to be human in order to care for the last natural baby in the Universe.
